They have nicotine in them, which is a drug, so yes, you can overdose on them. It’s the same as smoking a cigarette with that much nicotine in it. I’d imagine that it wouldn’t be too easy to overdose, however, but you can. Also, they do run out eventually and you have to change the nicotine cartridge. Other than a possible overdose on nicotine (which would take A LOT) I dont’ think there are any dangers with them.

Electronic Cigarettes, aka E-Cigs, don’t have all of the carcinogens that tobacco has. However, it was reported yesterday that the FDA stopped a shipment at the US border (from China) after the organization found that E-Cigs do contain a carcinogen–an element that is present in anti-freeze.
Electronic cigarettes produce a nicotine mist absorbed directly into the lungs. Most can easily pass as a tobacco cigarette with slim white bodies and glowing amber tips. They even emit what look like puffs of white smoke.
A Chinese company is marketing its smokeless, electronic cigarettes as a safe alternative to smoking and an effective tool in helping smokers kick the habit. But world health officials say the manufacturer can’t back up those claims.
